Paris Games week has come and gone and Sony held a conference which revealed and showed off a ton of games. We don’t have a comprehensive list, we merely talk about our personal highlights of the show:

Boundless (minecraft-esque) is coming to PS4/PC. Really interesting worlds/concepts –

it looks promising.

Michel Ancel’s new game, Wild, looks really interesting. Alex is enthusiastic about what     what was shown, while Brandon does not see the mass appeal.

We briefly touch on Dreams (Media Molecule) and No Man’s Sky (Hello Games), which

are both set to release in 2016. The latter having a launch window of June. We have

been waiting for a No Man’s Sky and finally got one. Is it too late? Have they shown

too much?

Horizon: Zero Dawn looks unreal. The world looks interesting and alive (kind of). We

appear to have a system seller on our hands! Time will tell.

From the creators of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls – both of which were revealed

as coming to PS4 – comes Detroit: Become Human. This is a David Cage joint. Detroit

has had an industrial revolution and is now known for being a robot city, home to many

androids. Discrimination and segregation are rampant. This game feels emotional. Alex

offers his voice-over skills to David Cage.

What Are We playing:

We talk all sorts of games! We discuss our experiences with: Grand Theft Auto 5, EA Access Vault, Dying Light, Metal Gear Online, Three Fourths Home, and finally – Halo 5: Guardians. Halo 5 is incredible. A few of the story beats are not the best, but overall: this is an amazing Halo game. 343 Industries brought it.
