Playstation Experience 2015 – Episode 9 – Pixel Pulse Radio

0

This past weekend, Sony invited thousands of game developers, publishers, and fans to their second annual Playstation Experience. The weekend hosted the company’s keynote, the Capcom Cup’s 2015 Finals, as well as a slew of panels hosted by industry experts. It was an exciting weekend, no doubt.

You can view the PlayStation Experience 2015 Keynote here. Let’s dive into the show, shall we?

Intro:

Alex questions Brandon’s traveling habits. Brandon is hysterical – literally. Ark survival evolved coming dec 17 – we predicted its release on next week’s episode

News from PlayStation Experience 2015:

Updates:

Uncharted 4 Gameplay: Nathan and his brother have an intimate moment, spoiled some things

Battleborn open beta on PS4 (PS4 users get free bonus character)

Ratchet & Clank continues to look great. The game is coming April 2016.

Sparrow Races are coming to Destiny: The Taken King. They are free; but possibly are only available for the next three weeks.

New Games:

We analyze the FF7 gameplay trailer. Brandon thinks Cloud looks weird. FF7 will be split into multiple games? Lame

Rain World stuck out to Alex. Gritty aesthetic and a slug cat.

Brawlhalla announced for PS4.

Yakuza 5 making its debut to PS3 this week, Yakuza 0 coming to PS4.

Nioh is coming west (looks like Onimusha meets Ninja Gaiden – made by Team Ninja)

Guns Up! This fast-paced strategy game is out now (for free), for all PSN users.

HOB (action adventure puzzler) looks like it’ll be a sleeper hit.

Alex raves about Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom while Brandon expresses his disinterest.

Epic Games showed off new PC/PS4 MOBA called Paragon (open Beta 2016). This looks pretty. It seems this rivals Overwatch in terms of gameplay.

Gang Beasts (not in Keynote) coming to PS4, party game that looks awesome. Brief Mario Party tangent.

Alex regales us with PS Vita releases from the show. The Bit.Trip, Bastion, and Nuclear Throne were all released over the weekend.

PlayStation VR:

Alex is really excited for Ubisoft’s Eagle Flight VR. Brandon makes some jokes about it. Both hosts agree that the game looks like it takes place in Assassin’s Creed.

Job Simulator looks kooky and reminds Alex of OctoDad.

100 Ft Robot Golf (regular game with VR integration) looks hilarious and dumb.

Ace Combat 7 announced with PS VR integration.

What Are We Playing?

Alex:

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
