Project Scorpio’s Official Name is Xbox One X

Microsoft has officially announced the next iteration of Xbox hardware, the Xbox One X, releasing November 7 for $499 (were you expecting anything lower?). Forza Motorsport 7 Coming This Holiday

The first title shown off at the Xbox E3 2017 press conference was Forza Motorsport 7, which apparently runs in native 4K resolution at a consistent 60fps. You’ll be able to play it on Xbox One and PC on October 3, and holiday 2017 on Xbox One X.

Metro: Exodus Announced

The next installment in the Metro series is releasing at an undisclosed time in 2018. Metro: Exodus takes place in apocalyptic Russia and word on the street is that it could be open world. If you haven’t played a Metro game then keep an eye out for one of their frequent sales on the Xbox Store.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins Announced, Set In Egypt

If it’s been awhile since you’ve seen the inside of an animus, then your wait is almost over. AC: Origins, developed by the team that made Black Flag, is centered around the beginning of the assassins. Slide down pyramids. Sail a lil’ boat. Fight a basilisk. Video games, y’all.

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds Revealed as Xbox Console Exclusive

That one game that everyone has been talking about (and we’ve been playing) is apparently coming to Xbox One this fall; but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Deep Rock Galactic Looks Like a Minecraft Mod Set in Space

Space dwarves that mine through the depths of extraterrestrial planets in order to unleash mini-gun destruction upon herds of hostile alien spiders. If you’re into that, you should probably check out Deep Rock Galactic.

Pearl Abyss’ sandbox fantasy MMORPG, now exclusive to the Xbox console, is landing on digital storefronts in early 2018.

Towards the end of the showing, Phil Spencer announced “O.G. Xbox” backwards compatibility is coming to Xbox One. The crowd roared as the Xbox Executive announced that Crimson Skies was one of the first titles coming to the program.

World Gameplay Premiere of Anthem

Bioware’s new game, Anthem, was announced last night live at EA Play 2017; and earlier today Microsoft closed their Xbox E3 2017 press conference with the world gameplay premiere of Anthem.
